Deep, wonderful wine and mocha flavors with undertones of soft, ripened blueberries through the finish.  This sweetly aromatic, bright coffee is full bodied and makes an excellent morning coffee.   It is not as full bodied as some other African coffees (I love African coffees), but this coffee has a very slight peach undercurrent that is subtle, and just beautiful.  You have to look for it, but it is there.  This is becoming an extremely popular coffee.  At our last taste testing at the shop, it was one of the top favorites.  

·        Ethiopia is the birthplace for coffee.  

·        About 12 million Ethiopians make their living from coffee. 

·        Mocha Harrar beans are grown 5,000-6,000 feet above sea level.   

·        They are processed by the traditional dry method.

·        Harrar has been a wonderful addition to my espresso blend.    

·        Term:  Mocha – Originally the port town in .  Coffee from and have somewhat of a chocolate aftertaste, thus the beans are called Mocha, after the port town the beans originally traveled through.  Mocha Java is NOT a flavored coffee.
