Big Train Chai is a decadent beverage that awakens your spirit and senses and transports you out of the ordinary. With its roots in the past, Chai was originally prepared exclusively for Indian royalty and involved a long, laborious process. Today, your work is done! Simply add a scoop of Big Train Chai to hot water, stir and enjoy.
Our Chai blends can be served hot, cold over ice or even frozen in a blender so you can enjoy the creamy blend of honey, vanilla, black tea and exotic spices year round. It is what we serve at Notting Hill Coffee Roastery and we love it! My customers tell me the best part about this chai...you can't mess it up! Add water (or milk) and drink. It is yummy. (We even have a Vanilla no sugar added, made with Splenda, that is very popular)
Big Train Chai is a pre-mixed powder which requires no refrigeration and has a one-year shelf life. These 1.2 oz. (34g) Big Train Chai packets are considered single serve.
It is so EASY to make:
Hot: Empty packet into 6 oz. of hot water or milk, stir and serve. Makes an 8 oz. beverage.
Cold: Add one single serving to 2 oz hot milk or water and mix. Pour mixture over one 16 oz cup full of ice cubes. Fill the rest of the cup to the top with cold milk or water.
Frozen: Fill a 6 oz cup to the top with ice. Add milk (or water) to the cup of ice until the cup is full of liquid. Pour the ice and liquid into your blender. Then add a single serving of chai mix to the blender. Next, pour the ice and milk (or water) into the blender. Mix on high for 20 seconds. Stir a bit and mix on high for 10 more seconds.
